It's in London that I study ceramic and where begins my relationship with the earth, "la terre". For the first 17 years my passion resides in creating ceramic jewelry but in 1988 I discover modeling and sculpting.
Relocating in Provence, South of France, I cultivate this art by digging in the joie de vivre found there. Geneva and its sumptuous "ateliers des beaux arts" becomes then my meditation place where, in the calm, I can study my own work and perfect my techniques.
I concentrate on feminine sculptures from live models. I name each piece after the friend who posed for me. Femininity earth and nature are dear to me. My art tries to convey the beauty of each of those components as well as the interaction that can sometime happen between them.
My oeuvre is devoted to the subject of women, honoring the female form and paying tribute to her mythological role as earth goddess. I have created works exclusively within the boundaries of this theme for about 20 years.
I received the "Grand Prix de Sculpture au Salon International des ’’Créateurs du Siècle’’" in Chambery-La-Ravoire in December 2002.
